Oklahoma city thunder: Russell Westbrook Just when it was looking like Russell Westbrook was back to his ways of old, he re-injured himself and disappeared for what seemed like eternity. Thats when the Durantula proved himself as one of the most skilled scorers NBA has ever seen. During this long period of time. Kevin Durant led the thunder on a 10 game winning streak and elevated his scoring average to an unbelievable 31.8 points per game. Yet ever since Westbrook came back, durant's scoring average has decreased and the thunder have lost the chemistry that has helped them win so many games. In addition , the thunder have recently lost to the Los Angeles Lakers, the proud owners of one of the leagues worst records. Unless Russell Westbrook vastly improves, the thunder can say good bye to their championship hopes. Miami Heat-Ray Allen Most of you were probably expecting Dwyane Wade to be Miami's x factor. Even I was about to put Dwyane Wade on this list when I remembered that the Miami Heat won the championship without too much help from Flash. But, if it weren't for Ray Allen's consistent three point shooting and presence of the bench, the Miami Heat would have gone home empty handed. Ray Allen has increased Heat's depth immensely and has stepped up to the plate when needed, making the three that saved the Heat's championship hopes. Now it finally seems as if father time is finally catching up to the man who once owned the record for most threes made in a finals serious, and the Heat's offensive dominance has decreased. Ray Allen has been limited to 9 points per game this season while playing a very limited 26 minutes per game. Unless the franchise finds a way to bring back the young, athletic Ray Allen, all the pressure will be on the big three. Los Angeles Clippers-none After acquiring Glen Davis and former superstar Danny Granger, the Los Angeles Clippers have become on of the deepest team to play the game of Basketball. They have become so deep that, if one player were to go down with an injury, another would simply fill his spot. In conclusion things would have to go terribly wrong in Lob City in order for the Clippers to lose hopes of title contention. To be continued...
